Ethics and certifications

At ARCTIC we work hard every day to make sure that all our products meet international standards. Each sub-supplier and production site have the required certifications which is demanded by the modern consumer. The most important and recognized certificates are listed below:

  • OEKO-TEX cetificate

Since 1992, STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® has been a globally standardised, independent mark of quality for raw, semi-finished and finished textile products from all stages of production and for all accessory materials used in the process. This global certification system assures manufacturers, sourcers, brands, retailers, and consumers around the world that certified products meet the strict limit values for harmful substances of STANDARD 100 and that these substances are not present in critical concentrations. OEKO-TEX® originally tested for about 100 chemicals like pesticides, carcinogenic colourants and heavy metals but today STANDARD 100 covers a wide array of several hundred harmful substances.

All of ARCTIC’s products are certified by OEKO-TEX.

The Woolmark brand is one of the world’s best known textile quality fibre brands, owned by The Woolmark Company and its affiliates. The value of the Woolmark brand is well established the world over for wool products in the apparel, interior textiles and home laundry sectors.

The Woolmark brand provides consumers with guaranteed fibre content and an assurance of quality. The Woolmark brand is backed up by technical specifications for a wide range of wool products and wool care products. Stringent testing is carried out by independent authorised laboratories.
